Brompton16Speed

This is blod for all who drives brompton bicycle outside of city roads. In the mountains, in the snow, every day and every weather. This is about how to modify Brompton to meet your needs and about travels with brompton. Currently it is about one 16 Speed brompton using SA 8 speed gear and Doble chain ring with Campagnolo Mirage front derailleur. Other modifications: titanium handlebar and titanium seat post and other small changes like brooks saddle and short carboon mudguards (fenders).

Driving brompton through the snow and ice.

It is snow and ice. It is -15 °C. It is time to change to "Schwalbe Winter". Still "Schwalbe Kojack" on the photos.

I use short carbon mudgards from "http://www.17carbon.com/". For heavy weather conditions I use "puug on" fenders. Same as used for Montague crosstown bikes (front and rear). Fenders are very light, installation is fast and easy, and provide great protection.
